I go for media fire because of their speed. Its blazing fast.
Despite all the big free file hosting website, you can also try TooFiles.com I use this site to upload my musics and share to my friends.
I agree, TooFiles.com is actually a really good one!!
Free, unlimited storage space, 10GB file limit, 60 days retention for innactive files, very fast, no wait for download, email notification
The worst that i know are hotfile and easy share, i just hate them for being so slow even with a premium account.
The best for me are Megaupload and Fileserve
the best for me is mediafire.the rest are aweful.sorry but that's my experience using those file hosting'
Mediafire is the best file sharing site
Best one is fast-sharing and Mediafire because of there amazing download speed.
Archive.org
it has a mp3/video player,plus 10 gb uploads.
I personally hated both megaupload, rapidshare AND most of all hotfile...I used to have alot of my stuff on RS, but then their service went down to crap…then switched to hotfile, who's servers crashed & lost ALL my files…then megaupload which omg i can’t believe what happened.
now I have all my files on:
…decent sized allowance, and it gives my users direct-links…which they love....so far, it’s been better than sonic, MU and HF COMBINED!!!
I really like Quick File Post... http://www.qfpost.com/ been using it for years. Saves time when I have to send a file quick and not hassle with logins or ZIP file attachments getting filtered by Gmail.

Hey. I know it come with good intentions but I don't think these are really the best. But it also depends on the situation. I know that Megaupload has the best download speed compare to the rest of the hosting sites. One thing that Mediafire bests Megaupload is the limitations. It's unlimited and parallel downloading. Same goes for the others. There's things you can do to make the list much better then just listing the 5 most used hosting sites.
